Day on the Farm

Bob & Lisa Coates Dairy Farm just S.E.of Maquoketa.
Area 3rd grade children from Andrew, Delmar, Sacred Heart and Briggs participate. At Coates' Dairy Farm, the children will be exposed to how livestock is raised and cared for from baby calves to dairy cows, see equipment, feel and smell feed and find out how milk is produced and where their milk comes from. We feel this is a great experience for the children as do the teachers.
