Hometown Pride: Landscaping Contest
Jackson County Master Gardeners are sponsoring The Timber City Days, Hometown Pride: Landscaping Contest. Applications may be called to Jackson County Extension Office at 563/652-4923 prior to June 9, 2008. Any individual, business, or civic organization within the city limits of Maquoketa may enter.
Prizes are:
- 1st: $30 Chamber Bucks
- 2nd: $20 Chamber Bucks
- 3rd: $10 Chamber Bucks
Winners will be announced after June 17th, 2008. Judging based on creativity and curb appeal. The entire community is encouraged to use the red, white, and blue floral color scheme for landscaping this.
